My passion for music was born more than 30 years ago after I watched a movie about a jazz pianist at the age of 4. Since then I went through 10 years of formal piano playing, 5 years of singing in semi-professional choir and touring the Europe with it, taking group lessons with my youngest daughter, helping my girls in their piano and guitar lessons, watching and listening to them on stage during Cantabella Children's Choir concerts, singing with and playing for my family, and regularly attending symphony and jazz concerts. I also recently started playing Pandeiro (Pandeiro is a Brazilian tambourine used in samba, choro, and even capoeira), and have also planned to start taking vibraphone lessons. Music is a big part of my life and always will be - I wouldn't be whole without it. I am absolutely thrilled and grateful for the opportunity to promote music in our community.
