Piano

Ms. Fong has been playing piano for almost 20 years, and has over 5 years of experience teaching technique, theory, and repertoire to students from age 3 to adults. She has passed all ten levels of Certificate of Merit, and has received Branch Honors awards several times. Ms. Fong has also played violin in orchestras for 6 years, and sang in various choirs throughout her musical career. She has taught piano both privately and at music schools over the past few years, curating curriculum that aims to teach students the fundamentals of piano while also taking into account their personal preferences. When working with students, she utilizes an individualized approach to personalize the experience and encourage students achieve their best. Ms. Fong loves working with students to help them become spectacular pianists, and hopes that in addition to learning piano, students will also develop a lifelong love for music.
